Easter Bunny Tradition Continues at Our Lady of Perpetual Help
An annual holiday tradition continued at Our Lady of Perpetual Help this Easter weekend.
Sal Stingo, a member of the Holy Name Society, visited OLPH as the Easter Bunny to greet the Sisters. This Easter marks the 50th year of this tradition, which originally began as bringing candy baskets to children at St. Charles Hospital in the 70s.
Before the Easter Bunny made his appearance, baskets filled with treats were handed out to the Sisters by community member Gretchen and her granddaughter.
A festive Easter cake was also made, decorated by Sr. Mary Jane Cashin, DW.
