70th Anniversary Celebration Event Recap

On October 20th, 2019, The Daughters of Wisdom, US Province held a 70th anniversary celebration at St. Martin of Tours Church in Amityville, New York.

Sr. Cathy Sheehan, DW, Provincial Leader, greeted the attendees and introduced Sr. Ann Gray, DW, who narrated the program. Guests were treated to the angelic voices of Schola Sine Nomine, led by Conductor Saya Callner, with music by Organist Peter Schubert of St. Martin of Tours. Tom Cilmi, Suffolk County Legislator, was in attendance, and presented an official proclamation in recognition of 70 years of service in the community. The program was followed by a beautiful reception in the Parish Center, where attendees enjoyed food and fellowship, and perused the historic photographs and artifacts that were on display.
