Tag Sale at OLPH Convent

A tag sale was held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Convent last Saturday, July 11.

From Christmas decorations to jewelry to CDs, a wide variety of items were available at the sale. Sr. Marilyn Soeder showcased her paintings, and Sr. Patricia Schmidt gave out prayer cards that introduced the OLPH community.

“Welcome to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Convent,” the cards read.

“We are Daughters of Wisdom residing in a retirement community. Our presence here centers around prayer. It is our way of bringing positive Divine energy to the world that God so loves, both in its joys and its struggles.

We welcome your presence among us. May you be blessed in knowing God’s love. May you share that love with all God’s people.”

Prayer request forms were also available. All prayer needs were collected and put in the OLPH chapel.

Live DJ music was provided for the Sisters, staff, and guests who attended the event.

Thank you to Vicki Castillo and Lana DeChance, both staff members at OLPH, for snapping these photos!

The tag sale was coordinated by Deborah Ahrem.
